We would like to propose an enhancement to Korbyt’s content scheduling and management that introduces three clear scheduling options for media items:
One-Time (Default)
Content runs once, based on its start and end dates.
No recurrence and no Evergreen protection.
Ideal for: one-off campaigns, announcements, or short-term notices.
Recurring (Annual)
Checkbox option to schedule content to recur automatically on the same date/month each year.
Ideal for:
Holiday greetings (e.g., July 4th, Thanksgiving, New Year’s)
Awareness events (e.g., Earth Day, Breast Cancer Awareness Month)
Anniversaries or annual celebrations
Evergreen
Checkbox option to mark content as Evergreen (not date-bound).
Evergreen content does not expire unless manually removed.
If deletion is attempted, the system presents a confirmation prompt:
“This content is marked as Evergreen. Are you sure you want to delete it?”
Ideal for:
Branded templates
Long-term corporate or departmental messaging
General informational content (e.g., safety reminders, resource access
Benefits
Provides clear, flexible scheduling options for all types of content.
Saves time by eliminating repetitive scheduling tasks.
Prevents accidental deletion of high-value evergreen assets.
Supports better governance and organization of media libraries.
Aligns with real-world use cases across industries, from annual events to permanent brand assets.
