Problem statement: Pre-defined Forms and Layouts both have approval processes, but Launchpads do not.
Feature Details: User created Launchpad templates will have a checkbox to turn on "Content Approval Required" on the Predefined Layout Settings menu. (menu visual https://imgur.com/Ic8cFXj)
Launchpad or Author level CMS users that select the created Launchpad templates will see "Request Approval" instead of the final "Publish" button. (menu visual: https://imgur.com/YIwakR7)
When Launchpad users hit the "Request Approval" button, there could be a simple email-notification (like Predefined Web Form) to all Predefined Layout Approvers.
Alternatively, the "Request Approval" process could mimic Layouts by having an additional menu for Approver selection that is part of the Launchpad publishing UI. This parallel to the Layout approval process could work based on the Access assigned to the Predefined Layout folders.
End Result:
Launchpads now have a Content Approval Process, similar to what Layouts and Predefined Web Forms offer.
