The ability to add a rule that will evaluate an empty metadata field (IS NULL)

I can say “when metadata01 IS (some value)” do something. What i can’t do is “when metadata01 is (BLANK/NULL)” do something. The use case here would be to create content rules in playlists for scenarios when players are either misconfigured or, for some reason, a metadata field gets left blank in some part of its lifecycle.
