The Korbyt platform is designed to be compatible with a range of hardware types that can act as a Signage endpoint controlled in Korbyt
Due to the varied nature of available hardware, some devices are better suited to some use cases.

Korbyt Supported Hardware By Type
You can select specific hardware types in the navigation section to the left
Korbyt Digital Appliance (KDA)
Windows (Aries Series) or Android (Virgo Series) powered devices built for Korbyt with Korbyt branding and support for all functions available through the CMS.

Windows Devices - Korbyt Windows Player (KWP)
A Windows-powered computer that is capable of supporting the Korbyt Player Software. The Specific capabilities of a KWP player will be driven by the hardware in the device and the level of permission the KWP agent is granted when installed.

Media Players from BrightSign that are configured to support connection to Korbyt by installing the Korbyt Partner Application on the device.

System on a Chip (SOC) Devices
Korbyt is compatible with different display manufacturers’ System On Chip (SOC) hardware by installing specific Korbyt Player Software to run on the display’s built-in hardware/operating system.
Due to the limited nature of the TV hardware and SOCs, content that is played on this type of hardware is best when limited to full-screen images and videos, and simple real-time data displays. Designs and content that have multiple elements in motion or complex embedded playlists may cause playback issues with this type of player.
